To win at a place like Tulane is almost impossible due to the lack of history and support there. I'm not exactly sure who they think they can get that can win down there consistently.

They actually have a decent history…they use to be a big powerhouse and a instate rival of LSU’s…alas…they are only a glimmer of their former selves. The popularity of the SEC and LSU coupled with the lack of popularity of the WAC...and the fact that NOLA is a Joe Sunday town really killed them…then there was Katrina to put the nail in the coffin.

1. They have academic standards
2. They are in SEC country
