Stanford/UW

Pooches looking lifeless early. Price is getting no protection.

Nice run by Polk but the Fuskies still don't look all that good on defense, although Stanford's offense causes that a lot.

Polk is awesome, but UW's defense is awful. Really hope the James is able to suit up for that game.

Did one of those bozos really say Sark was the premiere play caller in college football?

I barked a laugh at that one!

Probably Matt Millen. He was an okay player, but just a crappy analyzer of talent and coaching. Can't believe he still gets jobs related to football.

Stanford has just turned it on in the 2nd half. UW looks like crap now that Price can't seem to be all that mobile any more. Plus, their defense is just getting gashed for lots of rushing yards. While still not an easy game, the UW game does look a lot less scary. Still can't really tell if Stanford is as good as they are billed to be. Luck and the running game look good, but against an undisciplined, undermanned UW defense, they should be. Stanford still scares the heck out of me with all of their TEs and play actions.

Got to keep Luck throwing late, despite blowing them out. Can't lose out on that Heisman campaign.

LMJ/DT 100% healthy
Speed/get to the edge
Have our secondary play the game of their lives
Get pressure on Luck
Wear them out
Special teams make a big play or two
A Defensive TD
Have more points at the end of the game

It really will take a pretty close to perfect game for the Ducks to come out with the W. Really need to watch that play action and TE play from Stanford too. Their TE's just murder opposing teams, it's almost a joke.

I just go back to last years game with this one. I know we aren't at home but still, Furd lost a lot from last years team. A team that we rolled. We aren't as good as we were last year but we're closer than Furd is to last year's teams IMO. Their D isn't nearly as good & their offense is much of the same, just without as good of an Oline & less guys for Luck to throw to.

They are all Luck, & that works great when you're playing average to bad teams. We are not that. To me THEY will have to play the game of their season to beat us, not the other way around. We're a better team, they have the best individual player. The team always trumps the player. I think it will be a really close game but our team will make the plays to win.
