Actually I've read his surgery date is 2/4/09 the day of LOI day.

Same thing that I have heard. I wonder if he ever checked out dennisdixon10.com? It should be an awesome sell point to see someone that had the same/similar injury and then rehabbed to make the pros.

The latest word is that they have delayed, but not to a specific date. Apparently Boyd is all Oregon and his dad-mom are Ohio State leans. So they are just talking over everything to all make the right choice.
I am going to be pretty upset if we forgot to "sell" the parents once again like with Streeter and last year's Boyd.
Guess we'll see........

Hopefully they are just basing it off of news last week that Boyd might visit the weekend of the 16th if he couldn't do it this last weekend because of internet school work.

Really, some of you remind me of my kids when they were about 4 or 5 waiting for Santa Claus. Relax, our coaches will get the best players to fit our system and coach em up. I really think that when the smoke clears we'll all be pretty happy. But then again my first Duck game was in 1967 so I do have a little perspective. I guess that makes me "old school?" Calm down and enjoy the ride folks, this whole Duck thing just gets better and better. We'll get there...
