NO WAY, look at the score! 27-27 4th quarter with 4:44 min left, USC ball right now. I smell upset?

USC is showing that a team with an actual defense can slow down Stanford. Also makes me a little more wary about the SC game now. Hopefully the team gets healthy and the Autzen crowd can help .

Pick six for SC. Upset almost there.

Isn't a taunting call on a TD supposed to negate the TD this year?

My source just said Chip is officially back!
It will be announced at Autzen press conference tomorrow afternoon!

He did it after he got in so it wouldn't negate the TD.

we move up 2 spots if usc wins. but it would look better if we beat top 5 stanford. we would move up to the same spot and maybe even skip over boise and be ranked 3rd behind lsu/bama winner and okie state. if usc wins here though, we will be 4th behind boise, i think, assuming we beat washington and then stanford.

Fun game to watch.

Canzano thinks it made Stanford look bad. My impression was that USC isn't a team to look past.

I was thinking the same as you. Having Stanford and USC back-to-back is looking just plain scary now.

Yeah but he's an idiot and we all know that. USC is good and there is no other way to put it. They have a 1st round QB in Barkley, WR in Woods, Lineman in Kalil, Safety in McDonald, and numerous other NFL'ers on the roster. USC is scary good and vastly underrated. I'm glad we have them at home this year, I will say that much.

I think the USC defense is a better match-up for the Stanford attack than it is against our spread running offense.

I just don't expect Kiffin teams to be very consistent. I think Kiffin might do a good job of getting his team fired up -- particularly during these probation years in a "we'll show 'em" kind of way that he hopes will still keep the big recruits coming his way -- for these big "statement" games, but I'm not so sure he'll be able to sustain what we saw last night. Yes, the Ducks will presumably be another statement game for them, but given that it's at Autzen, I'm not particularly worried right now. I'm much more worried about the Huskies, frankly.
