Lane Kiffin is a snake and was definitely nega-recruiting the hell out of Oregon. I'm sure he made Oregon out to be the worst possible choice among his suitors. Why else do you think Bryce went from dreaming about playing for Oregon before he goes to bed to calling the offense flashy and not being able to prepare him for the NFL?
IMO, BB could have taken the EXACT SAME ROUTE JStew took at Oregon. #1 RB plays for 3 years then declares after junior season to be drafted in the mid first round. Stewart didn't do too shabby as a rookie now did he? It all depends on the player. I don't think anyone can argue Reggie Bush has had a great career so far as a rusher in the NFL. But Lane still probably bragged about Reggie the whole time that he prepared him so well.
Why are people so annoyed with Duckgrad voicing his opinion? Give me a break, anyone defending Brown for picking UT today is lying to themselves he made the right choice.
Bryce Brown is now dead to me. DTM. See you in 2010 and 2011 buddy.
Honestly. Isn't there a bunch of ??? (question marks) all over the Tennessee program? I mean, I think Kiffin's milking his experience for way more than it's worth, imo. But whatever, I'm looking forward to this season!!!
Bryce is in for a HUGE disappointment..Florida, UGA, and LSU run s*** in the SEC with Auburn and now Ole Miss up there as well. Tennessee hasn't been elite for a while and I don't see it becoming even great any time soon. To chose UT is one thing, to say Oregon will not prepare you for the next level is another, either he is not as intelligent as we thought or someone was chirpin in his ear all day long. I thought he was a huge stats guy too..something is very fishy here, but W.E.

Good points. Obviously I wanted him to go to Oregon, but I wouldn't have had a problem with Miami, LSU or Kansas State. But Tennessee? They have an awful season last year, have a new coach with a poor track record, a coach that I certainly wouldn't want to play for and they come in at the end and swoop him up. Very fishy. I wouldn't be surprised if the coaches promised Brown a car and A's in all of the classes that he will be taking. And then his comments about Oregons offense after what he said all along? This just doesn't seem right. Just more "SEC" bias if you asked me.
He might want to wait until Kiffin actually has a winning season as the head coach of any team before buying into that one.
I'm pretty sure that Brown will be saying, "Come on guys. There's more time left on the clock. We can do it!" more often than the #1 RB should have to say.
Bryce Brown said in an interview on rivals that he loved Oregon and that if he had to pick, he would have chose Oregon a long time ago. But his PARENTS!!!!
I think deep down inside, Bryce wanted Oregon. Thanks Butler, Kiffin, and Parents..
Just figured I'd share that so people would wish Bryce the best of luck and move on.

Maybe so, but there was no need for him to bash Oregon in some of his other comments. Saying stuff like "Oregons offense won't prepare me for the NFL" is ridiculous and taking a real cheap shot towards a school. I'm ready to move on, but I still think Bryce is all about Bryce and have lost respect for him.
Isn't Tennessee already just as bad as University of South Carolina? I guess they were a little worse last year, but you would think they could set their sights a little higher.
Just thought I would post those stats to show how laughable they are, especially compared to Oregon. Mr. Brown didn't do his homework, and this will cost him in the end.
We are in serious trouble if Blount gets hurt we should have taken another RB in this class.
In the past we had always been able to recruit skill positions and no big dominant lineman. Now
we have the lineman and no RB'S or WR'S. WTF

No WR's? Maehl, Davis, Holland, Gaines, Tuinei, Pflu, Harper, Jackson are all quality players. And yeah, RB could be a problem, but we can always move Harper over if need be.
