Of the many coaches I had pegged as going this year, I thought Wulff was one of the secure spots. I guess they're wanting to see Boise State like success over-night there...

I agree.UOducksTK1 wrote:I'd personally give Wulff one more season. If he can get them bowling next season, keep him.

According to a Vince Grippi tweet on Moseley's and Jude's Twitter page, Wulff is gone. I agree with those who feel he deserves another year, particularly in a place like Pullman, and given where they started out with him a few years ago. Yes, it's been four years now. But they were absolutely horrible.

Jack Del Rio just got axed at Jacksonville. Dirk Koetter is the OC there and would be a good fit both financially and culturally in Pullman. He also has a working relationship with Moos from his time at Oregon. It would not be a shock if he ended up there and probably would be a good fit at WSU.

to bad. think they made a mistake. I bet moos feels if Oregon can do it, so can
WSU. They had a coach who wanted to be there, now who would really go there?

They used to have teams that would compete with anyone, but I don't see how they replicate that success with how CFB is going now. They have to face it that WSU will never be a consistent powerhouse school, only one that can hope to make a BCS run every 5-6 years. To that, they have to find some kind of coach who's in it for the long-haul and has great recruiting instincts to overcome WSU's negatives.duckfan22 wrote:to bad. think they made a mistake. I think WSU is more a case of the sun shinning on a dogs ass. They got lucky getting JC guys who worked out, instate guys who worked, and a couple QB's who outplayed what they really where.
That said Wulff got another year according the scout posters.

I don't mind Nick under CK at all. In fact, the defense has outplayed our offense this year, IMO.woundedknees wrote:Make a lot of Duck fans happy, Moos.

It was more of a sarcastic comment toward those who are never satisfied... Allioti will probably be here til he splits the blanket with Chip., and retires.
