Cal/Texas
Normally I would be rooting for the Pac 12 team here (even UW). Can't stand Mack Brown. However, Cal thinks they're elite and I'm sure Tosh would sell recruits on "the Holiday bowl is the first step, next year we'll be playing in the national championship game (on NCAA 2013 for Xbox)"
In this case, I hope the Longhorns absolutely demolish Cal.

“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Hahaha! That's hilarious... and probably true.uostudent wrote:I'm sure Tosh would sell recruits on "the Holiday bowl is the first step, next year we'll be playing in the national championship game (on NCAA 2013 for Xbox)"
Too bad next year they're gonna be just as bad as they were this year. I generally like to see Cal do well, but the past couple of years they have achieved ultra-douche status due to Tosh, Tedford, and some of their players.

Rooting against Cal so they will have problems recruiting? What happened to "I want the conference to be as strong as possible... which you posted just the other day?uostudent wrote:Normally I would be rooting for the Pac 12 team here (even UW). Cal all the way, especially since I really dislike Texas.

Re: Cal/Texas
Well I'm rooting against Cal, mainly because I think there is a whole lot of douchery in Berkeley...
Cal DB Avery Sebastian. Not much classier than bragging about injuring players@Cali_Showtime4: ya'll can say y'all won n all but next yea y'all losing. We took James out twice in 2 years and death ony is next.

Cal looks terrible, especially with the turnovers.

Tosh is now on the phone with recruits promising a Las Vegas bowl victory next year.

Couldn't resist. I remember our game against them and then when they played USC and Jesse Palmer and Craig James seemed to be having a competition to see who could point out they were brothers the most. Allen would run a two yard stop route when the DB's were playing 10 yards off and Palmer and James made it seem that had they not been brothers, that completion wouldn't have been possible. Or the more likely story, Maynard would huck one up, Allen would make a great check and then they would say it's because they are brothers. Next year when ESPN has Cal, I'm setting up a drinking game to how many times they point out that Maynard and Allen are brothers. That will at least make it bearable...along with Craig James' soon to be failed attempt at running for a political job in Texas which will pull him away from the booth for a while.
