Rumor is Nick Holt will be fired

Bummer. I'd hate to see the fuskies find a good D coach. I thought Holt was
perfect for up there.

I just saw Holt and a couple of defensive assistants are not returning scroll across the bottom of the screen on ESPN.

Dawgman.com learned this morning that Washington Defensive Coordinator Nick Holt, Linebackers Coach Mike Cox, and Safeties Coach Jeff Mills will not be retained for 2012...


...With these moves, Sarkisian will basically have to replace his entire defensive staff, as cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin left Washington earlier to take a similar position at UCLA. The only defensive coach remaining is DL coach and Recruiting Coordinator Johnny Nansen.

+1. Holt never recruited that great, and Huskies defense has been terrible for a while.
