He doesnt seem to show any loyalty to any school. Seems like alot of coaches will move if they get a promotion...not a lateral tho. JMO. Would Oregon want a guy that may decide to leave after 1 or 2 years?
Coaches move to be closer to home and for job stability reasons as well. I would be surprised if Dooley is still the coach at Tennessee 1-2 years from now.

I know. It's sucks that they're both gonna look really bad when washington STILL has a bad defense.

Guess they wanted to be on the West coast, but that is one job they should not have taken.

How? Should Wilcox have recused himself from coaching against in Knoxville because he's a Duck?

We didn't offer either of these guys to come here so frankly this isn't anything like that at all. Besides, I thought the overwhelming majority of people on here were extremely supportive of NA and his slow progress? How does a DC that most feel is below our own DC bother you all like this?

Well that sucks. I always hops we would somehow end up with Wilcox as our DC.

It does allow for a potential replacement should Chip leave for the NFL in a few years. By then we'll know just how effective JW would be in the P12 too.

Big difference between being a coordinator and a head coach, just ask Bill Doba, Jim Lambright, Keith Gilbertson, etc. Should probably add Jeff Tedford to that list as well.

I wonder if they are secretly celebrating in husky country tonight. Even though they are currently "sleeping with the enemy" they are always going to be DUCKS at heart!

Blahhhhh......can Washington fans truely get behind this either?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Expect a lot of Ducks fans to point out that their beloved Huskies are now hiring Ducks to bail them out.
