To toot the LSU horn a bit…what my boys were able to do this year was simple amazing.

They started the season with 3 of their first 4 games away from home. Beating the #3 ranked Oregon and the #16 ranked WVU. Holding both high-octane offenses in the 20’s when both are accustomed to hanging number in the upper 30’s-50’s on teams.

They have played a total of 8 ranked teams this season. Four of which finished in the top 10 of the BCS and AP polls. Three of them were ranked in the top three at the time we played them.

LSU has averaged 38.5 points a game and has held their opponents to an average of 10.5 points a game.

My Tigers are damn good this year and the scary part is that they will be even BETTER next year.

The most talented Oregon Ducks team I've ever seen was in 2007 and that season was derailed by 1 thing: Injuries. Both of our teams look to be better next season and I'd love to see us face off in (Miami? Pasadena?) wherever the game is hosted next season!

To be honest I dont think it would have mattered where this game was played. LSU wins in Tiger Stadium, Autzen Stadium, Cowboy Stadium, the parking lot... wherever. They're crazy good.

Maybe we see them in Miami next year?!? That would be so cool.
