Barry Sanders Jr. Commits To Stanford
Just saw it on ESPN. I wonder how good he'll be at the collegiate level? One thing's for sure, Stanford will have a hard time replacing DeCastro and Martin on the O-Line.
Time will tell. Nothing personal against the kid, but I hope he's nothing like his Dad, at least not when he plays the Ducks. lol

But without Luck and numerous SR starters, they just don't have enough to compete at the top end of the North Division next year. Oregon's biggest threat in the North will probably be UW.Phenom wrote:Damn, I was hoping Stanford would go away.

Actually, if you watch some of his film, he runs ALOT like his dad didSuperDuck wrote:Just saw it on ESPN. I wonder how good he'll be at the collegiate level? One thing's for sure, Stanford will have a hard time replacing DeAngelo and Martin on the O-Line.

Good on him....in all honesty it would be real hard to turn down a free ride to Stanford. Even over my beloved Ducks

True, but they'll be losing Chris Polk too, who's also entering the draft. They should get better defensively though, with the addition of Wilcox and Sirmon.greenyellow wrote:But without Luck and numerous SR starters, they just don't have enough to compete at the top end of the North Division next year. We still would have won that game if they didn't have Luck throwing darts all day though.gregspechtismyhero wrote:Good god...i'm having nightmares of 09 when toby gearhart tore our defense apart...

I think if you get a full ride to Stanford theres no way you can say no. (as a student or their parent) Palo Alto and the farm is absolutely beautiful and a degree from there is worth its weight in gold. Noor Davis looked pretty damn good in that game too, if they continue to get more speed on defense and at the skill positions watch out.lukeyrid13 wrote:Good on him....in all honesty it would be real hard to turn down a free ride to Stanford. I absolutely love that he will be going to Stanford instead of Okie St. simply for the pub it will bring the Pac12. I don't think he will single-handedly win games for them, since they are awfully depleted right now, but he will create a buzz and a highlight reel!!!
