I've got a buddy that's an Arkansas alum and rumor on their boards is they contacted BSU about a game next fall. Arky is trying to replace their rivalry game with A&M since they' ll be in the SEC. They proposed game was at Jerry World, where the Arky/ A&M game was to be played and Boise turned them down.
Haven' t we heard for the past several years that no one will play Boise and that they're willing to play anyone even on the road but no one will do so?

Way to go out on a limb Arky, schedule Boise in Dallas AFTER Moore leaves. Brilliant.alabamaduck wrote:I've got a buddy that's an Arkansas alum and rumor on their boards is they contacted BSU about a game next fall. Re: Boise state
I think it's more a matter of being in scramble mode and Boise having an open date. Arky/A&M agreed to play for the next several years in Dallas but now that A&M joins the SEC the series is off. Obviously Boise will be rebuilding with Moore gone, but i like the fact that they're trying to schedule a quality opponent rather than the following the usual SEC gameplan (LSU excluded Bud).
My buddy has also told me that Patrino has told the administration he wants to get some games scheduled against quality west coast teams...agian, just what i've been told to take it for what it's worth!

Boise won't be a quality team next season though. They lose way too much besides just Moore. Most of their DL is gone which was a big strength of their team.alabamaduck wrote:I think it's more a matter of being in scramble mode and Boise having an open date.
