Well, I've yet to hear from anyone on this board as to a legitimate reason as to why Ron Paul is not qualified to be President. Wheaton, do you really want to compare Paul's record vs Obama's record? Or anyone else for that matter? I can go get you the quotes of Sen. Obama and compare them to Pres. Obama. It's actually really cool because you can do the exact same thing with Gov. Bush and Pres. Bush.
Of course, I imagine there are plenty on here who see absolutely nothing wrong with the Citizens United court ruling. Welcome to the United States of Corporate America, where the people are 2nd-class citizens to MNC's and NGO's!

Also, I would have thought somebody would have found that earthquake trend to be fairly interesting since people said it was nonsense last sept 15th.

There was a nice quake of 6.0, 159 miles west of Coos Bay, yesterday early morning.

It struck about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) deep, making it a shallow earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
Wednesday's earthquake was one of the strongest earthquakes to hit off the coast of Oregon in recent years. In October 2011, a moderate 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck about 233 kilometers (144 miles) west of Coos Bay, also causing no damage or casualties.

What I find scary is that when you go look at the world map of recent earthquakes, it looks like one big sling-shot pointed at the West Coast

Strawman much? I'm saying we shouldn't value corporate interests very highly because they don't need governmental help nearly as much as average citizens. I didn't say a thing about Democrats or Republicans.Elduderino wrote:Because, the party of "governmental help" certainly has no corporate backing.Well they're run by the very rich typically... He either doesn't believe that and is simply being argumentative... or he's been brainwashed by the 24/7 corporate news cycle.Duck07 wrote:Wow.wheaton4prez wrote:Corporations are essentially groups of average citizens.

Re: Duck07 Thread
I compare this presidential race to '04. You have an incumbent with poor ratings that continue to trend down(bush/obama) and the challenger who is so bland and uninspiring that the incumbent will win by default cause his reign has sucked but at least it's familiar
