i've never understood the lebron hate. ever. one hour of self-serving television, and suddenly he's public enemy #1? nah. normally i wouldn't care either way, but the anti-lebron rallies really made it easy to root for the heat.

and, i suppose, as blazer fans, we really shouldn't be rooting for okc.

As far as the rally all of them laughing about it at the time. Like other ex players have said on tv when your at a rally you always talk about winning multiple title. I think it was Shaq (maybe someone else) mentioned that when he got to his new team they talked about winning five or six titles at their rally even though they knew it wasn't too likely.

You all covered it well I'm so sick of the LBJ hate it's ridiculous...I'm so happy the HEAT won the title so people can get off his back for about a week...seriously how good and unselfish is this guy and the hate he receives is truly unbearable at times. And Cleveland can go to hell too, LBJ is from Cleveland, he made them relevant is proud of where he's from and after a lot of thought decided to leave, yes in a brutal ESPN kind of way, and now they hate him...pathetic!

kobe is no longer in the same tier. he's still got lebron (and most active players) in career accomplishments, but as far as best overall player...

lebron is the better scorer, passer, rebounder, and defender.

Fun fact, Jesuit High School has people at all levels of basketball who won a championship this year: High School, D-1 College (Wiltjer), and now NBA (Spoelstra '88). Spo's a great guy, came and spoke at our school and stayed to talk for a bit after. I'm happy for him that they won.

Very true. Forgot to mention him as another reason I was kinda rooting for the Heat in the playoffs.

Dont like him....cant stand arrogance and he is arrogant. IMO. Doesnt take away from his career and the season they had. Is he better than Kobe now. Yes. Will he win as many titles as Kobe did...no.
