I understand why, but unfortunate from my perspective.

Figured that we'd never see this series actually work.

Seems like they could have made it work. I'm disappointed.

I hope we keep our game with MSU.

When they went to a playoff format for 2014 I kind of figured that was not going to last long. You are going to see a lot less big out of conference games now that teams don’t have to pad a soft in conference schedule with a big out of conference matchups. Especially if they mandate a 9 conference game schedule.

They need to standardize scheduling somehow... I have no idea how that would be done, but in order for everything to be "fair" it needs to happen.

I agree with you on that, I would actually like them to go to a 9 game or 8 game standard. Personally I prefer the 8 game, it gives you one more home game a year (normally) and a chance to schedule a cup cake for homecoming giving your guys an easy one in the middle of your conference schedule. I’m not appose to a 9 game standard though, but like I said I think you are less likely to have that big out of conference game like us playing y’all last year and the huskies this year and Bama hitting Michigan up this year and Penn last.

I also think everyone should have a championship game.

Same as us scheduling Tennessee. Both are down right now but name wise they're up pretty high.

 They gave us a good time when we went up there last time. I'm hoping for a good one this year, but I guess calling this year's matchup as "big" would be a stretch...still a Pac 12 vs SEC match though. Something I would like to see more of as we seem to be the two conferences that are ahead of the rest.

Both of those matchups looked a lot better on paper when they were signed. Amazing how a team can turn so quickly.

Y'all get them next year right?

Watching the Mutt fans drag their behinds through the turf after a big loss, as if they just got wiped down with a turpentine soaked rag?

Priceless!

So what do y'all think the chances of them not scoring a TD?
