Oregon on Top for 4*

Lancaster (Texas) High School cornerback Tyler Stephenson is one of the top cornerbacks in the state of Texas. It just so happens that the four-star prospect is also one of the top track athletes in the state as well. Due to both of those factors, Stephenson was thrilled with his most recent scholarship offer from the Oregon Ducks.

Nice.

I still remember a few years back when the Ducks were under-manned at CB and kept getting burned by the long pass. So, I'm always happy to see us landing or getting interest from good DBs. So key.

Good stuff. I'm curious to see what'll happen when/if Texas offers.

Im not sure if texas really has room to offer this kid, i believe they already have around 20 kids commited for next year. Good to see some interest this early with a good prospect though

Even though texas's class is really fully, if they want someone they will probably find a way to take them (overbook and banking on some kids not qualifying, decommitting, or grayshirting) I'm sure Oregon will explore those options this year too since there is a limited amount of schollies, but if a true elite prospect wants to commit, and oregon has already used up its 17 or so schollies for the year, I'm pretty sure Chip and Co will find a way to make it happen.
