Jesse Scroggins QB

Keep an eye on this prospect. He was MVP at Vegas 7V7 badger camp a month or so ago. Was just named MVP at Nike LA camp as well this last weekend. It's no secret we'll take a QB and we are going to be selective. This kid has a lot of tools. And Toni on Rivals seems to think the mutual interest is heating up it sounds like. A combination of good footwork, accuracy while throwing on the run, and a strong arm earned this rising star QB MVP honors. He is built like Russell Shepard, but his throwing mechanics are similar to Tajh Boyd from the 2009 class. But the biggest thing that set him apart was his consistency throughout the three-and-a-half hour workout. Scroggins has only fortified his position as the hottest QB prospect in the state of California. Look for his offer list to double by the end of May. – Every

I've spoken briefly with Scroggins and he said he was very interested in Oregon but hadn't had any contact with them. That was bout 1-2 months a go. Update?

Sounds to me like we are waiting till after Bolden visits for spring day and see how he feels before we really go after other quarterbacks.
