He's got that smooth sweet lefty stroke and can create for himself and others...Seems very under control...Looks like what we need...The question is who do we lose if we now have room for him??

Thanks for the link. I like the looks of him.woundedknees wrote:http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=AiStKqiLD ... annel_page
You will enjoy the video, IMO.
His range seems to be out to the NBA line.

Very impressive highlights. His form and quick release remind me a ton of Salim Stoudamire.VinnyKnuckles wrote:Thanks for the link. I like the looks of him.woundedknees wrote:http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=AiStKqiLD ... annel_page

It's hard to judge a player based on a single video of highlights, but he seems to have no trouble finishing at the hoop and his shot is pure. I see a little Ty Rice in this kid.
Oregon could really use Armstead right now. I don't think Brown or Sim are cut to be pac-10 starting PGs.

St. Johns just landed a PG so that gives us a better shot at Armstead..

With the right coaching, I believe Armstead could be a plus on the Duck Squad... Especially given there is someone here who seems to be able to 'teach' fundamentals.
What's more fundamental than dribbling/shooting with the off-hand?

Reggie Moore just committed to Washington State.

You'd have to think if Oregon does indeed have space for another guard, Malcolm Armstead would be a great fit.

If Armstead doesn't mind travelling to Oregon to play ball, it could be a great situation for him...
