Good win for Stanford, can't help but to think after watching this game that they got lucky Ohio State and Penn were ineligible

Re: Rose Bowl
Stanford has 32 Seniors graduating this year. Oregon has 17.
It's going to be interesting next year.

Re: Rose Bowl
Penn St. wasn't all that good. If OSU was eligible they would be playing for the NCG not the Rose. Next.Bud Lee wrote:Good win for Stanford, can't help but to think after watching this game that they got lucky Ohio State and Penn were ineligible

Re: Rose Bowl
The problem with Stanford's listed roster is that they list their players by their academic year and they don't typically indicate if a player has taken their redshirt year.

Re: Rose Bowl
Stanford is losing some talented starters but so is Oregon, Stanford will be good again next season and it will probably come down to Stanford and Oregon to win the conference again maybe even for a chance at the national championship. Stanford didn't have many blowout wins like Oregon but they got it done and won a Rose bowl and beat Oregon.

Re: Rose Bowl
The scary thing about Furd is their recruiting has really improved. Their Oline for example is only going to get better with the talent they pulled in, so that running game will be just as strong.

Their DLine has been good for a while. They're hurting for WRs thoughBiggus Duckus wrote:Recruiting OL and QB to an academic school is easy. Not so much for the other positions, especially the DL.
