Reminds me quite a bit of Darius Banks, the QB a couple years ago that was an Oregon lock but had grade issues. Darius had like over 4,000 yards and 50 TDs in his JR season.
Anyway, does anyone know what kind of talent level Watson is playing against? Watson's passes are highly accurate, but a lot of that should be credited to the WRs for getting wide open. Just checked scout.com, and according to them, the last player they know of to go to division 1 college was in 2002.

The Ducks are recruiting him as a defensive back. He claims that he has an Oregon offer.

Just got an offer from Oregon as a defensive back. It's his first offer BTW. Doesn't play DB in school, but doesn't mind hitting people he says.

Here's the most recent news I could find on him:

Sounds like he couldn't get it done in the classroom, what a shame.

He's now at El Cammino JC trying to win the starting job against some QB from Louisville.

Chung was also from Rancho Cucamonga.duckyfan wrote:Oregon REALLY likes Watson and he is being recruited for defensive back. He's extremely athletic. This is the type of Byrd/Chung/Thurmond low-ranked player who turns into a first day draft pick, at least that's what the coaches think.
If Neal likes him a lot, that settles it for me.
