All it takes is some motivation, a big win for momentum, and the players to believe they can beat anyone to turn things around. What is Sark suppose to say "we don't have a shot this year, or the next, or the year after that, oh well." That's not going to draw in recruits nor is it going to motivate his players.

We all hate the huskies, but it would be best for the conference and Oregon if they returned to being a top 15 team.
Nope.
Yeah, I fail to see the upside of that.
The PAC12 really isn't that strong of a conference right now, outside of stanford and Oregon, and the level of competition needs to improve. It doesn't necessarily have to be Washington, but they are a team that Oregon plays on a yearly basis and would add a high profile win if they got back into the rankings. Them and Oregon state are the closest to becoming upper ranked teams in the north division, so take your pick.

The PAC 12 is far stronger now then it ever was in UW or UCLA heyday. Don't see any logical argument for UW being a top 15 team.

How many PAC12 teams finished in the top 25 this season? One of them was Oregon state which went 3 and 4 the second half the season, and probably didn't deserve to be in the top 25. The PAC12 south winner didn't even finish in the top 25. Someone in the conference needs to step up, so why not let it be a team Oregon plays/owns on a yearly basis.

From what I understand, strength of schedule is going to be more important with the upcoming playoff format, so adding a top 15, or even top 25, win would go a long way.
