Shoot... I'm holding out for an Elite 8 spot, just to spite the committee.

Andy Katz asked some guy in the committee about it and he just said they didn't have them originally 12th, but then mechanics or whatever dropped them. He didn't really give a reason or what they were at first.

Jeez, I would have rather gone to the NIT over this ridiculousness.

Just went to yahoo and see NCAA SELECTION SUNDAY
Where the selection committee really screwed up. It got some things right, but Oregon is a prime example of what went wrong. Nice to see all these sites know it's wrong, yet the committee can't.

He said that they should have been an 11 seed, which is still a joke. Sure the pac-12 isn't a top 3 conference, but it isn't as bad as these voters make it out to be.

Jerry Palm analyzed the committee's decision on Oregon and he doesn't like it one bit.

wow

"@AndyGlockner: Per the NCAA's seed list, Oregon was one team away from the First Four. So they probably would have been NIT had UW hit a game-winning Jump"

Remember this same type of committee will be picking the 4 teams for the playoff in football next year (2014-2015) just about everyone wanted it and used the basketball selection committee as an example of how well it works. Yes I know it's different in basketball your filling 64 spots and have I don't know how many teams to chose from. Football you will have at most 6 teams with a lagitamite argument. I am in favor of it as most were. Point is you have people desciding who have not watched every game what is best for that team. Hopefully the Fball committee will think things through a little better. Sorry not a big BB fan just try to keep up with the currents and put out my two cents :)
