NFL Draft Thread
The elation and pumped feelings MattyB felt when he announced he was coming back for his senior season with fans kissing his feet, back when he was considered a top 10 pick, probably now seem like a lifetime ago and are certainly over-shadowed by feelings of rejection. Those tweets of unfinished business in Eugene were BAD karma Matt.

Chip Kelly's 4th pick is...Matt Barkley. Probably just a tad less mobile than Darron Thomas, lol.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
In looking at the fit, we've known that the QB doesn't have to run as long as he is able to process information correctly and get the ball out quickly. He doesn't have the strongest of arms but he should make all the right reads under Chip which is vital. Need a slot wr and returner, but there are some real talented skill players for the Eagles QB.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
I think he'll really like Chip and how he teaches. The guy has been ripped on just about more than anybody else in this draft but he was a 4-year starter at SC. Fit matters a lot in the draft and while this may not seem like an obvious fit as most expect the read-option elements, its not like the NE offense struggles to hurry up at all with Brady.woundedknees wrote:Betcha MB loses the appearance of "Baby Fat" rather quickly.

Great value pick in the 4th round. It's a win-win for Chip and the Eagles. If he develops, it's a steal in the 4th. If not, it's a minimal financial hit.

This is the time to keep an eye on Kenjon, Poyer and Boyett. Chase Thomas for Seattle would be a good pick.

Miami already had a solid pass rush last year so they're really trying to amp it up!Adam Schefter
Dolphins envision Dion Jordan and Cameron Wake being for Miami what Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil were for Denver before fax paus.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
I was hoping my Packers would choose Kenjon, but that's done now that they've chosen Johnathan Franklin.
