The injuries where there is nothing traumatic looking can sometimes be the worst. Obviously when you have a Lattimore type injury, it's immediately obvious that it is severe, but a lot of times when a guy just comes down hard or makes a small mis-step and there is no obvious knee bend or other sign ofDuck07 wrote:Not to mention that the knee that got messed up wasn't the knee that made contact with the opponent, he was simply coming down.Duck24 wrote:When they were doing the knee stability tests on him right after the injury, you could see pretty clearly that one knee was giving way more when they were testing the ACL. injury, it can be the worst. Not sure if anyone remembers Cam Newton at the end of last season when he had what looked like an obvious ACL tear and turns out it was just a minor sprain. Then you have something like Holden where there is nothing obvious and he has an ACL. Sucks for the guy, hope he rebounds...again.
