Bradford returning to OU, Impact on Gaines?
So how official is Gaines' commitment to the Ducks? It appears Bradford is returning to OU, and this scares me, considering I have only heard that Gaines is a Duck on this board, and in the past I have been let down. When will we get official word?

I didn't think anyone was under the impression that Bradford was going to leave early. I don't think this would alter Gaines' decision at all. Then again, I don't even know if he is coming here or not since nobody but C4Q is talking about him being committed.

Bradford returning to Oklahoma is huge. By the way, Sanchez from USC is entering the draft.

He was only a Sophomore, how is it surprising that he is coming back?duckgrad99 wrote:Bradford returning to Oklahoma is huge. By the way, Sanchez from USC is entering the draft.

All reports had Bradford entering the draft unless he was injured. He likely would have been one of the top qb's selected in the draft as well.

Bradford was a RS Soph this season, thus he is eligible to turn pro.
As for Gaines, well nothing is official since Gaines has NOT committed despite what some are posting here. Does Bradford returning help OU's cause? Of course it does, esp since Gaines has only 2 yrs of eligibility left. Some reports had Gaines cooling on OU, with Oregon & Ole Miss the leaders, but don't forget that OU was the early heavy fave for Gaines until some say they backed off.

You could make a similar argument the other way w/ Gresham staying, Bradford will have another year w/ his favorite target, so even if Gaines started right away, Gresham's decision to stay would impact his looks.

Interesting decision for bradford imo, they lose the entire offensive line this year both safteys and their best receiver iglesias sp? could be a down year for OU, but thats good because i hate stoops and i dont want to watch them lose their sixth consecutive bcs game.
