Gonzalez or LeGaux would put a nice finish on the QB group...

Great pick-up. I'm looking forward to seeing what the kid can do as a Duck.

He has the size and the arm, judging from his video. If he learns well and can make good reads, he could end up being great in this offense.

Also happy to hear Helfrich already doing some good recruiting work.

No reason to be negative about this, if it was January and all the solid QB's were committed, then we have a problem. This is a guy CK watched and thought highly enough of to offer now, in June, why because he wanted him. Lots of athletic ability and a solid arm. What more do you want? I bet everything I own he ends up a better QB than Legaux or Brunetti who both have struggled at camps, highly inconsistent, yet this kid has only finished second to Scroggins ( who is the only true elite QB in this year's QB class IMO) and won another camp,
Welcome Bennett. Thanks for chosing the Ducks.

With regards to his stats too, I know Bolden has a lot of tools and is said to be our number 1 target but his stats aren't very impressive either, I'm excited to see Bennett's senior season play out, hopefully we get another commit though just because it's always nice to have a few talented QBs and a position battle can be a good thing.

Bennett is a track star and may be the best athlete that plays QB on our list. he also probably has the fastest straight ahead sprint time out of all the QBs in the nation. Biggins has him as a sleeper top 15 player. excellent under the radar Duck pickup!

Bennett is a 3-star QB who we offered in June. That say something, IMO.

If this was 3-5 years ago we'd be up in arms about how we got a QB thats a 3-star this early. IMO this is big get and one as a fan base we are accustomed to now.

Awesome pick up! Im super stoked for this kid and his future at Oregon...

Until he gives us reason to doubt him I cant see why others on this thread aren't trusting CK's (and the other staff) evaluation and decision to offer Bennett this early. Come on guys, in Chip we trust....

Is there other video that I haven't seen or something? This guys' zip on the ball and his longball are amazing. Plus, he has all that athleticism? Welcome aboard, Bennett!

I swear to God some of you guys are 13 yrs old, posting from your middle school library  This is a very nice pick-up. Guess what Tajh Boyd was listed as on Rivals? A Pro-style QB. Did that change the fact that he was really a Dual-threat that would have been great in this offense? NO.

We have never had a class this solid, this early. Two 4*s & two highly rated 3*s is so good for this time of year. You can't compare our classes to the Cali schools, they have HUGE advatages. Comparing to the beevs is a much more accurate measuring stick. Same state, Same distance/location disadvantages, somewhat same level of success the past fews years, & they can't recruit to save their lives.

Agree DT=DD. I always use the Osborne years at Nebraska as a guide for UO as far as recruiting goes. They rarely had top25 classes, but Neb like UO know, ran a specialized O that if the starters were smart and knew their assignments the O would hum along. Under Osborne they almost always won 9-11 games a year with players who would run through a brickwall for that coaching staff, and that's what we have to have at UO. Would it be nice to get a SC class, Hell yes! But that won't ever happen, though we can pull in a top 10 here and there. Give CK and his staff smart hard working players, and I will guarantee UO will continue to be competitive and win more then they lose.

An interesting tidbit, Bennet was recruited by Mark Helfrich.
