yeah, check this out, like 7:50 last night I get a call on my cell, it's lattimore. He wants to read the DT story I wrote, so I just gave him my log in info. He reads and calls me and says it was a good story and thanks. I tell him we are getting into a chat right now if you have any interest, he said that would be cool. WHam, chat wit Marcus Lattimore. Everyone was like what? at first. Pretty sweet.

Yeah, some were going over the top trying to recruit him but most were chill. Just talking about recruiting and football. Said Byrnes was going to bring it to the tourney this weekend. Also said he grew up watching Miami the most which was obviously followed by some booo's, one from myself.

Sounds like the opposite of Bryce Brown. Might as well offer & see what happens. If it turns into another Pryor/Brown recruiting fiasco, who cares. When you have a chance with a player like this you HAVE to try. Like the saying goes, It's the ones who never try that are the real losers.

He also said he has 3-4 teammates that are interested in the Ducks as well. Seemed like a stand-up classy guy!

I agree, I am sure he will get an offer next week and Pryor and Brown just created media attention for the Ducks so even if Lattimore chose to go somewhere else it doesn't hurt to have the # 1 RB interested in your school for the 2nd straight year and the #1 QB the year before that!

Haha, that's pretty awesome. One thing is for sure, Oregon rarely struggles to find a great RB to play in our system.

Byrnes would be a great high school to have as a pipeline on the east coast if he and some of his teammates really are interested. South Carolina football might not sound all that serious but this school is among the elite in the country.

Looks pretty good against H.S. competition. Runs pretty straight up and doesn't shift the ball to the outside. Not particularly fast but all in all a pretty good looking PROSPECT.
