4 or 5* depending on the site DE Gabe King, who was part of the 5 NC players says the Ducks are in his top 4.
"Right now my top 4 are Oregon, Cal, Tennessee, and Miami, in no particular order.
Distance will be no factor to Gabe, in fact, it may be a requirement.
"I really want to get away from North Carolina and see some new things. The decisin is all up to me, but my parents will offer their input as well.

Man it is sweet to be in on these types of guys. Unfortunately so is Cal, they have the potential to have a monster class this year.

Yeah Cal is already shaping up to have a great class, as for the Ducks, if they can land these guys and 1-2 of the top RB's and a top QB, we could end up with a top 10 class.Elduderino wrote:Man it is sweet to be in on these types of guys. ya he did nothing wrong...he gave the links and everything.
"Jeremiah Masoli took home the game's offensive most outstanding player award and then broke into song. Kidding."

Re: NC DE Gabe King
KIng is a good one and getting him would put ORegon in a position to really start putting heat on the QB with a DE who's big.

Re: NC DE Gabe King
Having those NC recruits visiting Oregon was big.
Now pretty much of all them have Oregon in their top schools and one of the schools they want to visit.

It's too bad he will be playing ball at Cal. King ain't coming to Oregon.

Not so fast, we will be in this to the end for Gabe IMO. Snagging Keenan Allen if possible elevates our chances with King significantly.

I'd feel a lot better about our chances if Scales' offer was committable.

But would you take the risk of offering Scales and likely missing out on Stephenson and Mathis to increase our chances with the NC guys?tonyd wrote:I'd feel a lot better about our chances if Scales' offer was committable.
Kinda of a sticky situation. I wonder if we could offer Scales at a different position or as an athlete or something?

Although Scales has to size preferable to CB, he's being recruited for Rover, same as Dixon.UOducksTK1 wrote:But would you take the risk of offering Scales and likely missing out on Stephenson and Mathis to increase our chances with the NC guys?tonyd wrote:I'd feel a lot better about our chances if Scales' offer was committable.
