Oregon just offered. Goes to the same High School that Thomas attended.
I really like Williams, and I'm glad we've offered. He has a little Blount in him. In his highlight film, he got stuffed at the line only to break away from many defenders for the score (Blount vs UCLA). Williams breakaway speed isn't great, but he has a pretty big frame to carry. He had a couple good cuts in the video, which proves he can not only be a bruiser, but potentially an all around RB.

Re: Dontae Williams
Very high on the Oregon radar and he has Oregon very high on his radar.
Will be a stud in the Oregon offense. Right now I'd say we lead but a certain school may try and string him along. Thankfully he wants early PT and fully knows the situation at RB for the Ducks opposed to the other school.

If signing day were tomorrow, then yes I would be very confident but recruiting is recruiting and anything can happen.gosterman01 wrote:Hmm well then Tony,J-hop, and mops. Do you think we land him? Or do you think we land someone else and who?

I'm actually a little worried some bigger schools might get into the action by offering.

Re: Dontae Williams
With what people are saying about him I would take him in a second if he wanted to commit. If it puts us out of the running for Lattimore so be it, we would have 2 running back commits who could really put up some big numbers in the offense.
