Anybody hear anything new about Munchie?

Post by gosterman01 »

Just wondering it's been awhile since he said we lead. Wondering if we still do or not.

how do you lose a star and drop out of the top 250 before the season even starts?

My guess would be poor performance in camps.

From the tenor of a previous interview, I got the impression that Munchie's family may be of limited means, at least as far as the ability to attend some of the camps that are fee based... It was mentioned that an unofficial to Oregon might be more than they were willing (or able) to afford.

Not attending camps can be perceived as the equivalent of poor performance.

Politics. That's okay, we'll take a high caliber player that will end up kicking SC's butt for 3 years, totally under the radar.

As long as Chip still believes in him, that's all I care about. I would love for him to drop that star, commit to Oregon, and then have a record setting year in high school.

The UT fans were saying that he looked really bad at their camp, that they didn't want him and several other schools also passed.

But, looking at his video and stats, I don't see how those can lie.

Man recruiting politics crack me up. He isn't able to attend the high profile camps so nows he not any good. Hilarious.

Seriously, did he all of a sudden lose his ability? Can he not throw anymore? Gimme a break. I really hope we pick him up & turn him into a star.

What ive read/heard is that he dropped not because he couldn't attend but because at the ones he did attend he didnt throw the ball that well

This

He was invited to other camps but did not attend, just like Bryan Bennett was invited to Elite 11 but chose not to as well.

Let him lose a star....... hell, let him lose two stars. I would like to see him as a Duck and let Kelly mold him into a star for Oregon!
