What many fans do not understand is that many of these camps are expensive to attend (Very few are free)... Not everyone has the ability to drop a couple hundred bucks a weekend to hop a plane and go pay the entry fees required to participate in these, "Meat Markets".
It's not just fooball... You can witness the same thing with basketball, baseball, even track and (Shudder) wrestling.
It doesn't mean these kids don't have talent. They are marked down for not having enough "dedication" to develop their craft.

Down to Michigan, Oregon, and Baylor per rivals. Michigan has 2 QB commits though

Munchie should be a backup plan. Schools in his own backyard dont even seem interested.
Why not wait until next year. Give it a go again.

Maybe because they already have qb's, many of them ranked in the top 5 in the country. Also, look at his offer list. It's pretty impressive. There is no guarantee that we could get someone better next year.

Re: Anybody hear anything new about Munchie?
Most of the schools showing interest in Munchie are spread offense schools... Michigan, Oregon, LSU, Virginia, and W.Virginia.
LSU (No offer) has 2/3 star QB commits this season (Zach Lee and Sam Gibson), plus 2009/5 star Russel Shepard and 3 star Chris Garrett; Michigan currently has commits from 4 star QB Devin Gardner and 2 star Cornelius Jones, in addition to 2009/4 star commit Tate Forcier.
Neither school seems like a good option for Munchie.
Virginia currently has a commit from 3 star (6'3"/232 lb) Tyler Brosius. W. Virginia currently has 4 star Jeremy Johnson (6'1"/175/4.6), as well as 3 star Barry Brunetti (Former Duck target... 6'/200), as well as 2009/4 star commit, Eugene Smith (6'4"/190/4.55).
If those programs have offers out for Munchie, that's not too bad, and should work in the Ducks favor.
That doesn't take into account offers from Colorado, Kansas State, where he would be forced to compete with (cough-cough) former Oregon Duck Chris Harper, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, and Tulsa, who secured the servicies of former Michigan commit, 4 star, 6'2"/179/4.55 Shavodrick Beaver... Tulsa?

Hey, if Dad is coming too, that is a big boost to Oregon's chances.

If Adam Sandler could pick the perfect name for a dual-threat Quarterback from the south, something tells me he wouldn’t be able to do much better than Munchie Legaux.
The 6 foot 4, 195 pound prospect named a top three consisting of Michigan, Baylor, and Oregon. Michigan’s inclusion in Legaux’s top three comes as somewhat of a surprise considering the Wolverines already have two dual-threat Quarterbacks in the 2010 class in Devin Gardner and Cornelius Jones. But it is Legaux who insists that due to their tradition and his relationship with assistant coach Fred Jackson, the Wolverines are very much in the picture for his services
Legaux is apparently going to major in sports medicine and views academics as pivotal in regards to the school he chooses. One thing is for certain, aside from the kid’s All-American potential at Quarterback, the school that obtains his services will have an All-World name leading their offense.

Tennessee had better not steal another one from Oregon.

Dated 7/31
“Right now my top 5 is currently like this: Oregon, Michigan, Tennessee, Baylor, and I’d say Southern Miss. That is in order of my favorites, so I do have Oregon on top,” says Munchie.
“Oregon and Tennessee are really recruiting him hard. Tennessee has started to come on strong. They are calling almost every day one way or another to speak to him. They call his coach a lot about trying to find out where Munchie is to see if they could speak with him,” says Jolla.
“I like the school and I am ok with him going to Tennessee. Whatever choice he makes I am going to support it. Either it be Oregon or Tennessee or any other school is ok. He will most likely have to travel to go to school and that’s ok with us,” informed Jolla.
“I want to win that state title. That’s my goal right now. I want to throw for 35 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards. Most importantly however I want to win that title,” said Munchie.
So the question is... Did he visit?
Cause I know you guys can't tell us if he commited yet

I have a strange feeling Kiffin is starting to go after some of our bigger recruits just to f*ck with us so 2010 will be that much more heated. It seems like that's the kind of propaganda he's into.woundedknees wrote:http://www.volnation.com/2009/07/31/new ... tennessee/

I wouldn't put it past him, but I would think it would make facing Tennessee in 2010 just as heated as 2011.gregspechtismyhero wrote: I have a strange feeling Kiffin is starting to go after some of our bigger recruits just to f*ck with us so 2011 will be that much more heated.
