Two recruits to Cal
It looks like 2 Oregon recruits have chosen Cal.
First is Josh Harper (Matthew Harper's brother)

Second is Davon Dunn from San Diego

It's too bad they didn't commit, but Oregon still has lots of recruits that are interested at the WR and RB positions.

Not surprising to me. 9 times out of 10, a school like Cal will always get the recruits over Oregon.

Looking at Stanford, Washington, Cal and UCLA's recruiting classes this early, along with Oregon always competing and bringing in good classes and OSU getting better and add Arizona State to the mix and of course USC the PAC-10 is going to be a really strong conference in a couple of years and could be a battle between 3-4 teams with USC for the title.

Sucks to see Harper go to Cal, he would have been a nice fit at Oregon.
They've had 3 WR commits in a row.

Especially since Harper's brother Matt was a standout here.

But as we found out with Wheaton last season, apparently family doesn't matter sometimes.

I think the players we get at WR this season will be just fine if you asked me...

Well if that means guys like Woods, Reed, McCartney, Stills, or Meline then definitely.Mops wrote:I think the players we get at WR this season will be just fine if you asked me...
I'm not too worried about the WR recruits, but I thought Harper would have taken a harder look at Oregon.
