Top 5 Center Prospects:

Zeljko Rebraca C+ D+ F+ B- B- A

Stepped in for KK Partisan after Vlade left and there was a collective groan as they expected to take a huge step back. Then Rebraca came in and blew away the fans. While losing Vlade took about two seasons to recover from, Rebraca was the rising sun, flowering and becoming one of the most polished and rising stars in FIBA competition. With his contracts ending this season, the Yugoslavian fans worst fears came to pass as another top player declared he was leaving for the NBA draft. Rebraca dominated the combine, showing why he was considered such a solid player in the old country. While most scouts think he doesn't grade out as well as Vlade in rebounding, his defense isn't too far behind. His biggest issues was bringing the ball down on offense as many match-ups, especially guards doubling down, would relieve him of the pumpkin. If he can iron out these issues, Zeljko should be around for a long time to come.

Thomas Hamilton C+ C- D- C C+ A

A rare high school entry to the NBA ranks. He dominated his competition with size and strength. He walked away with a state championship and proceeded to shock his school and future coaches at Illonios but declaring his intention to go pro. He is huge at 7'2", but a very gangly 250. Despite this, he uses his lithe frame to move extremely well. He held his own at the combine, but his youth showed. Scouts look at him and simply drool, as in the right hands Hamilton could be chiseled a heck of a pro.

Yinka Dare C+ D D- B C+ B

He and Shawnelle Scott went to war during the combine to prove who was the most hard-nosed defender of the class. Half the gym stopped to watch at times when one or the other caught the ball down low and went to work. The big boddied Dare seemed to gamble a little more for the stuff, but was rewarded with a lot of hard rejections. He is solid in most all aspects of the game, but he has had well documented struggles at the line for long stretches. Solid, not exceptional potential, but should be in the association for a long time.

Ivano Newbill B- D- D- C C+ B

The most polished finisher on this post class not named Webber. He was so good for Georgia Tech this season down low and followed it up with a fantastic combine. He loves to get his opponent in the air and finish underneath him for the up-and-under. He has solid positioning, but struggles when he is run off screens. Very strong, and seems to rely on this a little too much. He earned the derisive-nickname Brick-mason.

Shawnlle Scott C+ C- C- B C+ B
Big body that really seemed to love the defensive side of the ball. He and Yinka duked it out for the title of best defender. While Dare tallied more blocks (though not as many as it looked), Scott was excellent in his recover speed off of screens. For a big center, he had a refreshingly decent free-throw stroke.
