It's a joke about Pryor's accuracy and decision making, seriously though, if he dosen't improve that he's gonna have to be a TE because right now he's another Vince Young waiting to happen at the next level.RanDux wrote:Pryor a TE????? Where did that come from?????buckmarkduck wrote:Next year should be a RS/rehab year for his knee, so in reality he could be starting by his SO year at UO as apposed to JR at tosu because Pryor isn't leaving after his JR year unless he really improves or wants to be a TE?

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
This quote from the article pretty much says all I need to hear. After saying in the begining that he is leaning towards Oregon and he loves it out here:
"I'm looking forward to visiting Clemson and I know I'll have a good time there. My plan is to take this visit, think things over a little and then have some kind of announcement shortly after. I pretty much know what I'm going to do but I'll have something at the school where I'll pick a hat and I should be able to do that shortly after this visit."
This totally sounds as if he is only going through the motions and has his mind made up!

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
I agree 100%. Once I saw that it was settled in my mind, he's a Duck. Sounds like he is just going on this last visit to satisfy his parents & then he will don an Oregon hat shortly after. Obviously nothing is ever set in stone with recruiting but I would put my money on him coming here.MerDuck wrote:This quote from the article pretty much says all I need to hear. I read that statement as he knows how he's going to go about announcing (i.e. the all too familiar table full of hats), not that he specifically knows what he's going to do regarding the specific school. But either way he's a strong Oregon lean which is fantastic news.

Re: NEW-Boyd update!
LOL at the Oregon fans coming over here thinking they have shot at Boyd.
They said the same thing about TP.
Boyd = TP.
Not all worried about Oregon.
Oh wait...umm....never mind.
Can't wait to see what this moron has to say in a few days!

There is a feeling coming form the tOSU insoder scout board they have already lost according to some posters on Talefeathers. Now I have noe wasted my time by trolling the tOSU board but a few Ducks who have seem to agree.

I love this! But the thing is that when will Boyd see some pt? With Thomas potentially red-shirting next year boyd will struggle to make the rotation. We will see and i like boyd and everything, but i just hate wasting talent. Good luck to Boyd, make the right decision. As for Brown, this helps substantially.

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
I"m sure Boyd has analyzed our depth chart and if he comes he knows he's going to have some competition. Bring it on. If we have Masoli starting for the next couple years and Boyd and Thomas fighting it out for time in their Junior and Senior years (redshirt notwithstanding) then that would be amazing.Re: Boyd leaning towards....

I've been a Duck fan since 1977 and its been crazy to even dream of such a situation until now. How friggin fun is this?

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
Masoli will most likely be the starter the next two seasons baring injury, but Boyd and Thomas will compete which should help Masoli (most likely both Thomas and Boyd redshirt next season, but with them on his heels that should help him) After Masoli leaves it will be a battle between Thomas and Boyd. I am looking forward to having great depth at QB in case something were to happen like with Dixon in 07'.

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
Hopefully Tajh's parents don't become yet another monkey wrench for the Ducks. Reading between the lines of the last few articles, it still doesn't sound like his parents are fully on board quite yet. When Clemson called to set up the visit, it was his mom they talked to, not Tajh himself. Information from Buckeye insiders was that Tressel had closed his parents, not Tajh himself. If it was solely up to Tajh I think he would have already made the announcement, but it seems like his parents are looking for every opportunity to possibly stay closer to home. In the end, hopefully they get on board with Tajh and realize the Eugene area is a nice place to live. It is not as if they would be moving to a different country.

Re: Boyd leaning towards....
Wasn't there a fairly recent quote by Boyd's father that they would move to Eugene if that's where he chose to go? Time for the men in that family to man up and let momma know she's gonna be better off if he comes to UO. Kelly will make a superstar out of her son and she'll get the nice house/car/boat/furs etc.

hahaha, probably something like this. "Boyd gives Oregon false hope, solid to Ohio State."
