Amar'e Stoudemire: B C- D- C C+ A

Stoudemire is one of the many in the flood of hyper athletic players we have seen recently entering the league. This kid out of florida is a freak of nature. He is a beast in the low block and powers past all but the stiffest of defenders with ease. His defense is deceptively good as the rarely gambles on the steal or block. As long as he is not matched up against an exceptionally quick player he will have not trouble staying in front of them. His biggest asset, however, is just how relentless he is on the boards. He is a nightmare to keep off and has the touch to feast on the tip in. Nobody in this class, not even Wade, has more upside.

Samuel Dalembert C C- D B- C+ A

One of your classic ground and pound defenders. While he was in the Big East, Seton Hall isn't the most glamourous of squads in that conference. Despite this Samuel was able to anchor his team's course to a number of games won my margians such as 40-35 wins en route to a sweet-sixteen berth where they were splattered by eventual champion Duke. He posesses some of the most mature footwork of any player that was seen at the combine, both in the post and on the boards. He has prototypical size for a F/C and the strength to match. While not the best, he is not a worry at the line but you would not accuse him of being a scorer any time soon. Scouts' consensus is very solid potential.

Maybyner Halario C+ C- D+ C+ C A

The big man out of Brazil was pretty much an unknown when the season started for those you who were not lucky enough to live in Rio. Halario was a monster for Vasco, despite being so young. He was both the Brazilian equivalent of rookie of the year (the Revelation player) and finished second in the MVP voting to the astoundingly still prolific Oscar Schmidt (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Schmidt). Nicknamed Nenê (meaning baby) by many he was the breakout player of the combine. He his a high motor and has very pesky hands when defending down low. While not the best, he has an entirely adiquate set of post moves. He does struggle at time from the line but this should not be too much of an issue overall. Maybyner looks poised to have a big impact on the Association for a long time to come as scouts think he has the perfect frame to build on.

Nenad Kristic C+ C- D C C+ B

Another of the Yugo invasion, but might not be the best player we have seen from there. While he is no Drazen in his quality he has very mature feet on defense and on rebounding. His main weakness is the look like he got a little pushed around on the low block, but his technique compensated for this for the most part. Great at holding onto the ball. Very average upside.

Drew Gooden B- C D- C C+ A

Gooden soars above the competition with his finishing ability. Very strong and very good on the offensive boards. Great body with which to build off of. Surprisingly good midrange jumper with a sneaky deep ball mixed in.

Other Cs

Curtis Borchardt C D D B- C+ B

Excellent defender with outstanding strength. Solid, but not exceptional upside. Very high motor.

Chris Wilcox C+ D+ D+ B- B- B

The definition of win now. He could step into the rotation of any team in the league. Very mature defense and rebounding. Limited upside.

Mario Kasus C+ D F+ C B- B

Outstanding footwork on the boards. Poor free throw shooter.

Melvin Ely C+ D+ D+ C+ C B

Very strong and pays rent above the rim. Poor moving off of screens.

Jason Jennings C+ D D- C B- B

One of the strongest players to come out in some time with pretty decent touch in the post. Limited upside.
