Re: Utah @ Oregon (Saturday 5:45 PM FOX)
Lockie is trying but he's in such a hole, he can't dig it out and he lacks the experience to just throw it away and take the three points. He wants to be the guy and doesn't realize that three points now means he lives to fight another series.
I'm wondering what happens now. Does Helf put in Alie now, as the 3rd, or try to put in a gimpy VA back or maybe even the 4th string Mahalak? And, by the way, did the D finally get a stop? Oh my god.

I don't. It's not DPs fault that Hardrick and Coleman have poor instincts.OregonFan4Life wrote:So then don't blame DP for his players not progressing and even getting worse?!chapelhillduck wrote:Tonight isn't about the coaching (except starting Vernon). Re: Utah @ Oregon (Saturday 5:45 PM FOX)
Please explain how this is not about coaching? Coaching is much more than play calling in a game. Our players are not well coached not well disciplined. Can't execute can't tackle it's all about coaching. The coaching is terrible from top to bottom. The only thing that can't be argued is the talent. We have talented athletes we just don't have coachingOregonFan4Life wrote:So then don't blame DP for his players not progressing and even getting worse?!chapelhillduck wrote:Tonight isn't about the coaching (except starting Vernon). A lot of you are.FlDuckFan wrote:Did Marcus really spoil us that much?
Oregon has had one of the great runs in Pac-8-10-12 history. This is a 6-7 win team. Hiring from within has finally come back and bit the Ducks. Lack of QB development, The Pellum experiment, complacency has brought the program back to earth. It happens to elite programs and Oregon is not immune.
There will be a reset and asst. coaching terminations that will define whether Helfrich is a long term HC or a just a bridge to another choice.
The true Oregon supporters will stick it out thru thick and thin. And there will be a lot of thin this year.

French should be starting over Coleman. The coaches haven't done a good enough job of recruiting LBs.chapelhillduck wrote:I don't. 10-3 is still pretty doable. Utah might win the Pac 12.OregonFan4Life wrote:I would LOVE an 8-5 season at this point!

For the life of me, I fail to understand how this electric offense can't recruit a serious contender at QB, knowing MM was going to be gone, even 2 years ago. Do most HS QB's really expect to start their frosh years?

Interesting "Hiesman slump" graphic fox just posted, 8-5 sounds good at this point of this game.OregonFan4Life wrote:I would LOVE an 8-5 season at this point!
