I just watched cnn cover this for the last 2 hours cause i was sick of studying...this is the weirdest story. I guess the fans inside a jet engine are extremely fragile, u think that there would be something protecting them from whatever gets sucked in. weird. everyone survived tho!

Weird incident. Props to the pilot on a perfect landing given the situation. Apparently he was the last one off after walking the plane several times to make sure everyone was evacuated. He's owed a lot of beers.

The pilot of that plane is a "true hero" in my book. To think his actions saved like 200 lives is amazing.
