The common link between North Carolina and South Eugeene H.S. appears to be Dino Philyaw (SP - to lazy to check).

Good for Oregon and Cal, bad for Alabama. Cal coaches have ties and recruit Eugene so this isn't a done deal for the Ducks, but it doesn't hurt.

Said rumor is true, been in the works for a while. He will play at South Eugene. This does not mean he is a duck, he still favors Cal. However this gives Oregon a lot of help.
