Re: Gabe King transfers
Fantastic news. This will be fun to watch develop. I will have to go over on a Friday night and check out a SEHS game when Gabe plays. Dino is a REALLY nice guy. I was in The Cooler to watch an Oregon away game a couple of years ago (which was not televised anywhere) and Dino was in there, sitting at a table next to me. Really great to talk to him for a couple of hours. Very nice. Very genuine. Great to meet guys like him, many years after their playing careers, to find out they are successful, and really neat people.

Re: Gabe King transfers
Gabe did go to the Utah game by the way.
Edit: sorry, a few people were already aware of this and posted the info in another thread.
Since I didn't add anything with that, I can tell you that he's been wearing Oregon gear every time I've talked to him.

A little off subject but I attended the South Eugene vs Franklin game Friday night. They are playing a true freshman running back, Richard Ramsey. He had a wicked game. South looks like they may be competitive this year.

Re: Gabe King transfers
yeah, this actually makes NO sense moving from the East Coast to a football powerhouse South Eugene ( not ) unless he favored the Ducks?????? He could of went to De La Salle in Concord, Ca where they are in the running for national champions almost every year and is VERY close to Berkeley! Please, someone make sense of this?

Re: Gabe King transfers
Oregon isn't exactly known as the high school football powerhouse, so maybe he wanted to dominate. If he goes to California to play, better competition might make him look worse. He already has the offers, so why not dominate where he can to make himself look better?
Just a thought.

Sheldon was the team but to be honest they weren't sure if this late into the season if he
would be able to start for them and they were worried about team chemistry.
Thus South Eugene he should dominate against most schools and we can get an
honest evaluation of his skills.
