Losing coach Neal so far doesn't seem to be negatively impacting much at all with Lenoir, Douglas and Picket remaining committed, Graham getting on the bus, and the Ducks staying favorite for Deommodore Lenoir.

Graham's commit alone moved Oregon from 49 to 32 in rankings. If they pull Lenoir back in, hold on to everyone not named McKitty and land a few DL, this class won't be the dumpster fire folks expected.

Would have been nice to get the staff in place early enough to pick up a few JuCo guys (JC signing day was this week), but yea, they're doing a good job of getting what the can from what's available. Need some OL, defensive ends, and a wide receiver or two.

Taggart briefly discussed that, he said since he only had a week to work with there was not much of a chance at getting any of those JUCO guys so he decided to focus on the high school kids, on the current commits and guys he knew he had a strong chance with, including guys he developed a relationship with while recruiting at USF. I would have been nice to get some defensive guys that could play right away but I think this class will probably end up better than had Helf and company not been fired and not the disaster everyone was expecting with the change.
