It will be nice when we start recruiting players outside of the state of Florida.

Thanks. I guess I just assumed he was from Florida as well. Was it just Willy that recruited him? Is he the only guy out there recruiting at the moment?gogreen55 wrote:http://247sports.com/player/thomas-graham-75944karlhungis wrote:It will be nice when we start recruiting players outside of the state of Florida.

Re: Demetri Burch Receives Oregon Offer
I wonder if guys like Burch would have been offered if Taggart started recruiting since the start of this year.
Not a shot at Burch, but he's a Florida guy and Kentucky is the only SEC offer he has. I feel like this is a result of Oregon needing to get guys late in the game.

Re: Demetri Burch Receives Oregon Offer
because of the short time to quote and meet face to face Taggart is touching base
with recruits he already knows. Takes time to reach out to the others because there
are so many out there. Graham from California was not going to come to Oregon if Taggart
had not contacted him. Once he gets his staff together and 2017 recruiting cycle is done then
He will go all out and not just Florida.
Besides if he can swing Florida kids to come out here who cares.. If we win a championship
with all players from Florida or New Jersy or Oregon doesnt even matter. He has to throw out all
these offers and hope some stick and can get them to visit. Give him time.. The Califonia schools are
going to know him very well and his staff. He appears to be putting a good staff of recruiters.

Until he gets his staff filled out, Taggart is likely going to depend heavily on his FL contacts for recruits. It'll be interesting to see who the rest of the staff goes after.
