Speaking of Popo, he says we should expect another commit today.

2-3 years before he can play at Pac12 level, but interesting project.

What? He's already quicker and has better leverage than Manu.

You sure it wasn't talking about Jordan? Or is it in addition toPhenom wrote:Speaking of Popo, he says we should expect another commit today.

Yeah, there's no way he doesn't play next year. Plus, he's an EE.buckmarkduck wrote:GrantDuck wrote:2-3 years before he can play at Pac12 level, but interesting project.

People are speculating that Aumavae is talking about DT Martin Andrus since they've been talking a lot on Twitter. Another guess is DB Elijah Gates.

HS tape against HS kids. He's way too slow/overweight to play at Pac-12 level at that weight. Love his quickness for his size, but he'll get tired in 2 plays at his current size. Now, 2-3 years from now with the Oregon training program? Could be a monster.buckmarkduck wrote:GrantDuck wrote:2-3 years before he can play at Pac12 level, but interesting project.

Manu was playing well before injury.

Well hopefully from now on it will be a bunch of 3 and outs on defense so he can stay fresh.GrantDuck wrote:HS tape against HS kids. He's playing at the highest level in Florida, not Oregon. Half those kids will be playing some form of college ball, he's not facing scrubs.GrantDuck wrote:HS tape against HS kids. In all fairness he isn't a pass rushing DT. Two plays and sub out into nickel is what we're hoping for.
