Ducks offer 4* FL DB Brini

Post by greenyellow »

Seems Oregon is a lot more reactive with Taggart as they offered 4* DB Latavious Brini from Hialeah, FL hours after he tweeted out that he wanted to visit. Brini has now set up a visit for the weekend of January 27th-29th.

This is awesome that the new coaching staff is embracing social media as a recruiting tool, and I think it will pay off big. Not to get political, but Trump did a great job utilizing social media to spread his platform and connect with voters, and years before that Obama used the internet and email (social media wasn't quite as big then). Times are changing and it looks like the new coaching staff is adapting, whereas the prior staff was pretty stagnant in this regard.

It's becoming clear that the prior coaching staff didn't know how to connect with recruits. Hole famously said he didn't use email. Email was standard in 1995. Dinosaurs.
