Re: Braxton Burmeister
I think McNeal is helping here too. Burmeister and McNeal were going to be roommates at Arizona prior to McNeal flipping to Oregon. I feel pretty confident in Willie Taggart's ability to close. Obviously the sample size is small with Taggart at Oregon, but I'm very impressed with his closing ability. Thomas Graham was interested in Oregon for awhile, but none of us really had the vibe that he was going to go to Oregon. One in-home visit and he's a Duck. Then look at what he did with Freeman, Crosby, DC (who was contemplating a grad transfer if Helfrich returned per j Hop), and it shows that WT knows how to sell his vision.

Going to miss the Maehl Man

It was on Duck Territory. Justin said that he was considering that option before Helfrich was fired. Obviously declaring for the draft was also being considered.UofO8 wrote:Whoa, where did you read this?TheMaehlMan wrote:I think McNeal is helping here too. Akili Smith is one of his mentors. So we gotta chance. But man, talk about late in the game if so.

Re: Braxton Burmeister
I'd say him having Akili as a mentor is probably the biggest reason Oregon even has a shot. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out tonight.Howry wrote:Akili Smith is one of his mentors. So we gotta chance. But man, talk about late in the game if so.

Come on Braxton, it's time to quack (although I can't blame him if he picks Arizona).

No specific time, just supposed to be today. He is an early enrollee and needs to be on campus this week.BTJ201 wrote:Is there a specific time he is announcing?q

Classes are cancelled tomorrow. Gives him extra time to get to Eugene!
