Josh Falo another CB pick for us
Tom Loy just added a Crystal Ball for Josh Falo to the Ducks 1/12/17.

We could really use Falo in this class, so good sign.

Re: Josh Falo another CB pick for us
Definitely a must get, and we'd be lucky to have him. We are so thin at so many positions. I read a lot of folks saying that Falo is the most important get for this cycle. Maybe out of the dudes we are left in contention with, but I would rather be thin at TE and make do with a lower rated kid than some of the other positions we're thin at.
Of course we have to get this kid. He's big-time. And can come in a contribute right away. I just wish we were this close with Marlon or j. Tufele or the Gaddy Twins or the linebacker Phillips or Artis.
Maybe we'll get super lucky and get Falo and some big-time front 7 defensive help. A man can dream.

A poster on DT claimed that Falo was the silent commit we have had on offense for a while. Looking now like that may have been good information.

Sucks to see him and Cotton are no longer a package deal, but they may still end up at the same school out of coincidence.

maybe related - I wonder how hard the new staff is coming at Cotton, if at all. seems like he is further down their list than a lot of other guys. maybe he sees that and is looking hard at other options, hence splitting the pAckageCanadianQuackers wrote:Sucks to see him and Cotton are no longer a package deal, but they may still end up at the same school out of coincidence.

Doesn't appear that Oregon is interested in Cotton. Falo is an elite TE recruit. Some believe that Colorado is the favorite due to his brother being on the team. Pretty sure that Jim Leavitt recruited him while at Colorado, so that could be a factor when he visits. Oregon will be his last visit, which is nice.
Falo would have the opportunity to start immediately at both Oregon and Colorado.

“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

I think he would have the chance to get fair amount of playing time immidiatley but Breeland is legit at well. Not sure he will be able to start over him right awayuostudent wrote:Doesn't appear that Oregon is interested in Cotton. Falo is an elite TE recruit. tough to do that with only 3 TEs on the roster. I do believe they will try to add the JC kid once he qualifies.

I've watched a few USF games from last year and this year to get an idea of the offense we will see come Spring ball. From what I seen multiple TE formations definitely has a chapter or two in the WT playbook, another formation he runs often is the stacked WR including the Slot receiver. This is one of my favorite formations, and IMO didn't run enough under Helfrich.

We've been running low at The for years. I remember pining for two TE sets ages ago.
At this point, we need to add Fall and one more freshman, plus the JC, for future depth.
Only scholarship guys are McCormick and Breeland.

For what it's worth, both Ryan Bay (6'4, 235) and Taylor Stinson (6'5, 240) have the strength and speed to get the job done in limited reps as walk-ons.Duckenstein wrote:
