Wonder how much "money" is involved in this decision. I heard Fleck was making 400-500 at WMU/year. That is less than Cristobal makes per year now at Alabama.
I'm sure Oregon is offering him somewhere in the range 800k to be the OC/OL coach. Hopefully Phil Knight feels generous if Cristobal wants more
We need better players. Period. That's what people like Cristobal brings this program.
We're in the last stretch of recruiting this class, I wonder how much it hurts not having Cristobal and Salave'a not inked? I understand Cristobal is looking at all options, but I thought Salave'a was pretty much a done deal. All I can find with googles is Salave'a retweeted on of Willie's tweets.......... maybe Salave'a is coke drinker and the Pepsi addict is a deal breaker. Seriously, I wish at least Salave'a would become official.

Salave'a is already recruiting
I may have missed it, has he signed a contract and is it official yet?
Also as of 15 minutes ago 247 is reporting Cristobal to Oregon is a done deal....I hope this is not another stab at breaking news.
2 hours ago, Ryan Bartow, at 247, posted that one of his sources has confirmed that Cristobal is officially moving to Oregon. Just passing this on FWIW
Oregon: Ryan Bartow of 247 is reporting that Alabama tight ends / offensive tackles coach Mario Cristobal is leaving to become the co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach on Willie Taggart’s staff at Oregon. USA Today’s Dan Wolken reports the same.
