Funny, I saw some USC posters on their website starting to claim that USC is passing on Lenoir. LOL. Yeah, you guys are going to pass on the best corner out West. Even FK is saying their coaches want taller corners, but they'd "make room" for Lenoir.

Since this turned into a Lenoir thread, it's worth noting that he made an unofficial visit to Oregon this weekend.

Also worth noting he just jumped up 31 spots in Rival's final rankings.

Well back to the subject at hand.. Willie Taggart just followed Stephen Carr's girlfriend I think. Trying to convince the lady friend to bring him to Oregon?

When Lubick was brought on a few years back, he imparted on the staff the importance of identifying the decision-maker in every recruit's situation, and not just assuming it's the kid or his coach, then winning over that individual. It's weird (very weird, and so uncomfortable that I'm glad it isn't me that has to do it), but sometimes it's the girlfriend of the kid you want.

Rumblings on 247 that Carr gave a silent commit to Ducks over weekend. If true, still gonna be hard to hold with SC around. I'm sure having Redd and Lenoir in his ear was huge.

Good news is it's only two weeks, bad news is we've seen this before. Juju comes to mind. When a kid is close to campus, it's easy for Sc to get into their ear again.

+1. I'm just going to pretend like I didn't see that, my heart still hasn't recovered from the last giant claim that fell through.

Could be revealing what goes down with Cordarrian Richardson's scheduled trip on 1/27. If it ends up not happening could be a big sign of bigger things about to come just days later on LOI. If he still comes it's not some slam dunk that Carr is leaning SC, but if the staff feels Carr could stay south we should see CR on that last visit weekend.

As for Verdell, Taggart just visited him last night and it's obvious they want him and plan on him being a Duck. No way they can take Carr, Richardson, & CJ, so they have to play this hand carefully. If it blows up and they don't get either Carr or CR, then finishing with Verdell, Felix, and possibly trying out Habibi-Likio at RB certainly is a solid finish.

Idk what their Intel is but silent commit by Carr is probably a reach. Don't get your hopes up. Don't wanna him to pull a juju and have a breakdown

"Don't get your hopes up"? Come on man, what is this time of year all about? Been doing this annual rite of getting my hopes up along with thousands of other Duck fans since the early 80's. Don't worry, know the ropes my friend, esp when it comes to competing against SC.
