Slade-Matautia deciding on Saturday
Figured this deserved it's own thread.
But he will be deciding during the Polynesian bowl on Saturday at 3 PM.
Should be quacking that day.

Re: Slade-Matautia deciding on Saturday
Perhaps we should make this thread about the Poly Bowl as a whole?
There's going to be a strong presence of Ducks commits and targets at the bowl, with a few making commitments.
Sampson Niu (commit), Popo Aumavae (commit), Cyrus Habibi-Likio (target/potential silent commit), Isaac Slade-Matautia (target), Josh Falo (target), and Austin Faoliu (target) will all be playing in the game. Both ISM and Austin Faoliu will be announcing their commitments at the game. Oregon is the odds-on favorite for ISM, while Faoliu will be making a commitment on the heels of an Oklahoma visit and having never been to Oregon's campus. The beacon of hope with Faoliu is that Joe Salave'a was one of Faoliu's first college recruiters while at WSU, but doesn't look good.

I thought Faoliu was no longer announcing? Or is that someone else?

Just created one for people to discuss the game and in-game commitments.StevensTechU wrote:Perhaps we should make this thread about the Poly Bowl as a whole?

I believe his season was shortened by injury so that might be why his highlight video isn't longer.

Re: Slade-Matautia deciding on Saturday
I believe he had a shoulder (and possibly an ankle) injury for much of the season that limited how much he could play. It's likely why his recruiting didn't blow up like it should have after he had a good JR year.Phenom wrote:I believe his season was shortened by injury so that might be why his highlight video isn't longer.

Faoliu was going to pass on the Poly and supposed to be visiting us! Maybe I'm wrong but thought he was changing his plans to visit us?Phenom wrote:I thought Faoliu was no longer announcing? Or is that someone else?

I thought that's what the plan was unless things have changed again.srsmiley007 wrote:Faoliu was going to pass on the Poly and supposed to be visiting us! Thanks! Let's hope! We need to get this guy. He has long arms and is extremely quick for his size. I could really see him as a SDE as well with the depth we'll have at NT (assuming we're going back to a 3-4).greenyellow wrote:I thought that's what the plan was unless things have changed again.srsmiley007 wrote:Faoliu was going to pass on the Poly and supposed to be visiting us! Must've changed again, because he plans to pick a school to announce his commitment at the game. I think 247 was mixing his plans up with Jordan Loloheagreenyellow wrote:I thought that's what the plan was unless things have changed again.srsmiley007 wrote:Faoliu was going to pass on the Poly and supposed to be visiting us!
