Ducks offer 2017 ASU TE commit Jared Poplawski
Oregon continues throwing offers out to TEs as a new one went out to 3* ASU TE commit Jared Poplawski. He's now the second ASU TE commit they've offered this past week (3* Tyler Johnson being the other.)

Possibly but I think it's more these coaches are covering their bases, especially so late in the game and are just making sure they get guys in position of need, it's a numbers game, the more offers the better the odds. Not to bash Helf and company but when they offered one RB last year and one QB this year and those guys changed their minds they were left with nothing. My guess is with the lack of depth and the likelihood of more attrition if it comes to it they will over sign in this class. Not sure the number of available scholarships but it is likelly well over the 25 or so they are expected to take.Duck24 wrote:Maybe things aren't so rosy with Falo?

Oregon needs to take at least 2 TEs so with none committed yet, they have to keep throwing offers out until they feel like they're in position to get them.gofightingducks wrote:Possibly but I think it's more these coaches are covering their bases, especially so late in the game and are just making sure they get guys in position of need, it's a numbers game, the more offers the better the odds. He sounds pretty excited about the offer in his tweet.

I'd say most recruits are excited about new offers. It'll now depend how strong the pull is for him to stay home versus go out-of-state.karlhungis wrote:He sounds pretty excited about the offer in his tweet.

Not positive but pretty sure this is sarcasm.karlhungis wrote:He sounds pretty excited about the offer in his tweet.

It sounded like sarcasm but when you hit the kids twitter, I think he's right. He retweeted 4 different duck tweets. He actually does seem a little excited. Interestingly, this was the jersey. I'm hoping we go back to these.pdxduck wrote:Not positive but pretty sure this is sarcasm.karlhungis wrote:He sounds pretty excited about the offer in his tweet.

That guy he retweeted sends out similar tweets to every recruit who gets an offer using that jersey style because they're custom jerseys that can be changed online and sent as screenshots. I doubt Oregon goes back to them since they've never gone backwards on designs.

Thanks! I didn't think so but our uni's sucked last year (a lot like our season) Except for our duck uni's. Seriously hope we get the old helmets back or something like them and ditch the tye-dye jerseys.greenyellow wrote:That guy he retweeted sends out similar tweets to every recruit who gets an offer using that jersey style because they're custom jerseys that can be changed online and sent as screenshots.
