If she's going to San Jose State, it is only about a couple more hours from Eugene than LA. I think he ends up at Oregon because it offers early playing time, he likes the coaches, and his friends are going to be here.
2 hours from SDSU to USC.
14 hours from SDSU to Eugene.
It's a good thing she isn't going to San Diego State then. She's transferring to San Jose State. It's close to San Francisco and Stanford U. 8 1/2 hours to Eugene.

I'd be more concerned wIth Reaves poor choice impacting Falo than Judson or Gibson.

Kinda makes you wonder why they didn't stay on top of Robinson-Carr. Word was he decommitted because nobody contacted him.
I wonder about if that's now a mistake on Taggart's part that he wish he could have a do-over on. I remember Coach Neal saying that in every recruiting class, there were always a couple mistakes/misses that he wish he could have a second go-around at.

Doubt Reaves being fired impacts Falo too much. I don't think he was his main recruiter anyways, but I could be wrong.

Thanks JHop. Some great stuff here.

It seems that Leavitt, and to a lesser extent, Salave'a were his main recruiters. Leavitt knows the family well since he recruited and coached Josh's brother, N.J, at Colorado while Salave'a and Poly ties create a natural bond.

Anything on Gates? Sounds extremely unlikely. Biggins is rarely wrong on SoCal guys, and he said he's going to UCLA.

He's announcing at 1:25 PM today at his high school. Don't get a good feeling from him so it looks like Oregon is down to Gibson, Lenoir, Speed, and potentially Brini for DB commits.

Don't forget Jaylon Johnson if we convince him to take his visit this weekend

Knew I was forgetting someone else. Just doesn't seem to have been a lot of communication between him and Oregon so I'm wondering if it's still a possibility.

New staff likes taller DBs (unless they're exceptional players like Lenoir and Johnson), so not surprising for them to focus more on Speed and Brini. But Brini looks extremely unlikely right now, and Speed is a longshot if we're being honest. If staff is going to pass on Gates, gotta get one of those guys or another one IMO.

With Brini putting plans to visit Oregon on hold with only one more weekend left, I think that basically takes the Ducks out of the running.

I think the reason would be that both Judson and Gibson have a relationship with Reaves being Florida kids. His being here is just one more factor in committing to Oregon. Now that he's gone, the question is how that will impact their decision. Falo on the other hand probably had no or minimal contact with Reaves but has established relationship with a fewof the new coaches. Think they can smooth it over for him.

Taggart will be visiting Judson today and likely Gibson sometime in the next day so he should be able to smooth things over.

There's Woodie too and he is already visiting Burch today so I am sure he will be checking out Gibson and/or Judson as well!
